Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a Japanese-based, non-invasive healing therapy that utilizes Universal Life Force Energy to gently, but effectively, promote internal balance and wellness. Reiki has its roots in Tibetan history and is thousands of years old. It was reclaimed in the early 20th century by a Japanese monk who had devoted his life to study, research and meditation.
Reiki creates a connection between this Universal Life Force Energy and the Reiki practitioner through a series of attunements that the Reiki practitioner receives as part of her training. Once attuned, the Universal Life Force Energy is accessible and flows freely through the practitioner's hands.
The person receiving Reiki innately draws only the amount of Reiki Energy needed to create balance and support healing and wellness. Ultimately, you are in control of each Reiki session.
Once a person is energetically balanced, healing becomes more effective. Reiki now is being used in clinics and hospitals across the country and is provided by Reiki practitioners around the world.
Benefits include:
Full Reiki sessions last about an hour. The recipient, fully clothed, lies on a comfortable massage table. As a Reiki practitioner I use different hand placements on the body, or slightly above, to align and restore energy pathways in the body. Diffusing doTERRA essential oils specifically selected for each client during Reiki sessions adds to the energy work being done.
Single sessions are offered as well as a series of four sessions, depending on the individual's goals. Reiki benefits are cumulative in nature. Choosing a multiple session package allows for maximum healing potential when undertaken on four consecutive days. The four session package may be scheduled however you would like.
